Trillium erecturn Purple Trillium Eastern United States   10 inches Solitary, arching flowers, each having 3 brownish sepals equal in length to the 3 deep red petals, 6 stamens, a 3 angled pistil and an unpleasant odor. Occasionally this plant has yellow or white flowers which do not have a disagreeable odor. Spring Large leaves, 5-7 inches long
