Open spreading shrub
6 to 10 feet and wide
Rounded, fragrant flower heads but not as fragrant as V. carlesii. They are pink in bud and then white and fragrant. The flowers are borne in roundish cymes that are 5 inches in diameter.
 
Foliage is dark green and has a sheen
Reddish purple
 
 
Red to black drupe.
 
 
 
Hybrid of V. carlesii x V. macrocephalum which originated at the Burkwood and Skipwith Nursery in England. This is the source of the many plants with the name Burkwood in them.
