Vinca major Large Periwinkle     12 to 18 inches tall     Opposite, simple, evergreen, ovate,1 to 3” long, half to two-thirds as wide, acute entire but often with ciliate hairs, lustrous dark green and glabrous above, lighter beneath; petiole 1/3 to 1/2” long.     'Oxyloba' - Deep purple with narrow petals. 'Aureomaculata' - Central blotch of yellow green. 'Jason Hill' - Deep violet-blue flowers.
