Members of the genus, Narcissus, all have similar flower structure consisting of:

  • Corona - central trumpet, bowl, tube or disc
  • Perianth - 6 floral leaves that form a ring around the corona
  • Petals - 3 of the 6 floral leaves toward the inside of the flower
  • Sepals - 3 of the 6 floral leaves toward the outside of the flower
  • Color - corona and perianth may be the same color or may be of two different colors
