This cultivar is a medium size (13 inches high by 28 inches wide) seedling of H. 'Rainforest Sunrise' × an unnamed seedling which was registered by Jim Husemann of Iowa in 2009. The foliage is greenish yellow, broadly ovate, slightly wavy and dull on top. Its leaves have thick, rubbery substance and good sun tolerance. Medium lavender, tubular flowers with white edges bloom in July. The yellow color intensifies as the summer progresses.
