Hosta 'Blue Eagle'

This cultivar is "probably" a seedling of H. montana x H. 'Sieboldiana' which was originated by Ran Lydell of Cooks Nursery and Eagle Bay Gardens in New York.  It is a giant size plant that grows to a height of around 31 inches with a spread of about 76 inches. The blue-green foliage is moderately wavy, slightly corrugated and oblong to ovate in shape. Near white flowers borne in clusters bloom from late June into July.
