'Blue Edge'
 

This cultivar was listed on the MyHostas Database website. Originated about 2000 by Kim & Lee, this non-registered cultivar is a sport of H. minor. It forms a small size (8˝ inches high by 22 inches wide) mound of medium green foliage with a blue-green marginal variegation. The leaves are ovate-shaped and smooth textured with the underside shiny and whitish. It has purple flowers in early to mid-July followed by viable seeds. It has ridged flower scapes.

'Blue Edge' is an artificially induced mutant due to the application of ethyle methane sulfonate (EMS).
