This cultivar was is a non-registered hosta which was originated in the 1930s by William Borsch and Sons nursery in Multnomah, Oregon. It is a large size (27 inches high) cultivar forms a mound of blue-green foliage.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), it has a "...H. montana background."
