Hosta 'California Gold Rush'
 

This large size (22 inches high by 40 inches wide) sport of H. 'Sutter's Mill' was registered by Mark Zilis of Q & Z Nursery in 2010. The leaf center starts chartreuse color in the spring but turns more golden as the summer progresses. Its leaves are moderately corrugated, ovate, slightly wavy and glaucous on top. Near white flowers bloom from June into July on scapes 20 to 30 inches tall.
