Hosta 'Chiemsee Blaue Taube'
 

Originated by Volker Eschenbach of Planwerk Staudengärtnerei nursery in Germany, this non-registered cultivar is a sport of H. ‘Mourning Dove' with narrow, pointed blue-green foliage lacking the marginal variegation of the mother plant. It grows into a medium size plant about a 12 inches tall by 31 inches wide with lavender flowers followed by viable seeds.

Blue Dove and there is an existing cultivar named H. 'Blue Dove'.

The largest lake in Bavaria is the Chiemsee, which is otherwise known as the "Bavarian Sea".
