Hosta 'Choctaw'
 

This cultivar is part of Van Wade's "American Indian Series" of hostas. It is a hybrid of H. 'Creek' × H. 'Sea Blue Leather' which was registered by Wade in 2007. The large size (28 inches high by 48 inches wide) mound has foliage that is cupped, heavily corrugated, broadly ovate and has thick substance. The leaves have a thick bloom on the underside. Near white flowers bloom from late June into July.
