Hosta 'Clean Shave'

Registered by Rod Lysne of Northern Grown Perennials in Wisconsin in 2019, this medium size (15 inches tall by 34 inches wide) cultivar is a sport of H. 'The Razor's Edge'. The leaves are green with a white marginal variegation. They are lanceolate in shape and are slightly shiny on top with a light waxy coating on the surfaces. It bears medium lavender flowers from late July into August on scapes about 20 inches tall followed by viable seeds.

The registration materials state: "...Long lance-shaped leaves with light rippling on the edges and narrow, pure white margins. Quickly forms a very round, dense, compact clump quite similar in structure to its parent. Seasonal Color: stable throughout the season."
