Hosta 'The Razor's Edge'

A seedling selection, this cultivar is a non-registered plant from Kent Terpening of New York. The foliage is long and narrow (lanceolate), heavily rippled and upright in form. It forms a small size (8 inches high by 18 inches wide) mound with red petioles. Lavender flowers bloom in mid-summer.

The Book of Little Hostas by Kathy and Michael Shadrack (2010) says: "An ideal hosta for the window box, where the bright petioles can more easily be seen and the white backs of the leaves occasionally glimpsed."
