Hosta montana
'Creech'

Originated in Japan and brought to the U.S. by John Creech of the National Arboretum in Washington, D.C., this non-registered cultivar is a sport of H. montana.  It is a medium size (17 inches high by 56 inches wide) hosta with heavily rippled green foliage. The leaves have deep veins and have long, thin tips. Flowers bloom in July on scapes up to 47 inches tall followed by many seed pods.
