Hosta 'Crow'

This non-registered cultivar of unidentified parentage was originated by Van Wade of Wade and Gatton Nursery (Closed 2019) of Ohio. It resembles an H. kikutii type with a medium size and slightly wavy, narrowly elliptic, dark green colored foliage.

We suspect that this is part of Van Wade's American Indian series of hostas. The Crow nation of native Americans lived in the Yellowstone River valley in modern day Wyoming, Montana and North Dakota.
