![](../../images/leaves/leaf-nearly-round.gif) A seedling of H. 'Hadspen Blue',
this cultivar was originated by Henry Weissenberger of New York and registered on his behalf by
Kevin Walek (Hosta Registrar) in 2009. It grows into a semi-upright, medium size
hosta about 18 inches high by 38 inches wide with intensely
blue-green foliage. The leaves are moderately cupped, moderately
corrugated and broadly ovate to nearly round. Very pale purple
flowers bloom in July on scapes about 25 inches high.
