Hosta 'Delaware'

This non-registered cultivar of unidentified parentage is part of the Native American Series by Van Wade of Wade and Gatton Nursery (Closed 2019) of Ohio. It has H. 'Sieboldiana' in its background and grows into a large size plant about 21 inches high by 52 inches wide. The foliage is dark green, moderately corrugated and has thick substance. Near white flowers bloom in June and it produces many seed pods.

According to Wikipedia, the Delaware Nation is one of three federally recognized tribes of Delaware Indians in the United States, along with the Delaware Indians based in Bartlesville, Oklahoma and the Stockbridge-Munsee Community of Wisconsin. Communities also reside in Canada. Of course, it is also the name of a state.
