Hosta 'Drop-dead Gorgeous'

Registered by Hans Hansen of Walters Gardens, Inc. of Michigan in 2019, this cultivar is a seedling of an unnamed streaked sport of  H. 'Niagara Falls' × H. 'Empress Wu'. It forms a giant size hosta about 30 inches high by 86 inches wide with green foliage that has a yellow marginal variegation.

The ovate shaped leaves are heavily rippled at the margins, dull on top and  slightly wavy. White flowers with striping in the centers bloom from July into August and on one side of the scape only. It sets viable seeds but only a few in number.

The registration materials state: "...Very large majestic form with brightly contrasting yellow margins."
