Hosta 'Duke'

This cultivar of unidentified parentage was registered by Robert Savory of Savory's Gardens in Minnesota in 1988. It forms a large size mound of heavily corrugated, rippled foliage. The leaves are broadly oblong to ovate with a deeply lobed base, moderately rippled margin and a thin, curved tip. Near white flowers bloom from late June into July.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "...is nothing like 'Duchess', another Robert Savory introduction. It makes a much larger mound of foliage that is dark green and has an attractively rippled margin."
