A member of the
Tiara Group, this plant
was registered in 1988 by
Walters Gardens, Inc. It is a
medium sized (17 inches high) plant with medium green, light gold centered, slightly wavy leaves. Bell shaped
purple flowers are displayed on a 28 inch scape.
The cultivar is a
sport of Hosta 'Golden Scepter' which was a sport of H. 'Golden Tiara'.
Similar cultivars include H. 'Amy
Elizabeth', H. 'Emerald Scepter' and H. 'Green
with Envy'.
Seedlings include H. 'Salty Dog'.
