Hosta 'Flapjack'

Oops! Sure looks as if this green hosta is labeled as H. 'Pancakes' but this is actually H. 'Flapjack' . - Mr PGC

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "H. 'Pancakes' (W. & E. Lachman) = H. 'Flapjack'."

This hybrid of H. 'Christmas Tree' × H. 'Donahue Piecrust' was originated by Wm and Eleanor Lachman of Massachusetts but registered on their behalf by Kevin Walek (Hosta Registrar) in 2009. A medium size plant, it grows to 18 inches in height and 43 inches in width with foliage that is rippled, moderately corrugated and slightly lobed at the base. It blooms from June into July.

Zilis (2009) comments, "...was known for a while as 'Pancakes', but a Frances Williams introduction with that name had been long-established."
