Hosta 'Flower Song'

A seedling selection of unidentified parentage, this cultivar was introduced by Dr. Ralph (Herb) Benedict of Michigan but registered on his behalf by Kevin Walek (Hosta Registrar) in 2009. The medium size mound grows to about 13 inches in height with a width of 31 inches. The foliage is bright golden yellow with white streaked variegation. It bears flowers from June into July.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "...sometimes been listed as one word, i.e. 'Flowersong'..."

Seedlings include H. 'Songbird'.

From the description on the registration materials for this cultivar, it seems that the plant shown above is NOT 'Flower Song' as it was labeled.
