Hosta 'Frances Williams Squash Edge'

This cultivar was listed on the MyHostas Database website. Originated by Frances Williams of Massachusetts and her daughter, Connie Williams, this non-registered cultivar is a large size sport of H. 'Frances Williams'.  The leaves have thick substance, are heavily corrugated, have a deeply lobed base and a distinct tip. It bears large clusters of near white flowers from mid-June into July. This cultivar is distinguished from the mother plant by having a wider golden-yellow marginal variegation and somewhat taller clump height.
