Hosta 'Frosted Mini-muffins'

This sport of H. 'Banana Muffins' was registered by Jim Schwarz of Jim's Hostas of Iowa (now owned by Uniquely Hostas of Wisconsin) in 2000. It grows into a small size hosta about 8 inches tall with a spread of 17 inches. The heavily corrugated leaves are medium gold with a narrow white marginal variegation. It bears lavender flowers in July.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "Keep this plant juvenile (divide every 2-3 years) to prevent the drawstring effect..."
