Hosta 'Gold Chip'

This cultivar of unidentified parentage is a non-registered plant from Dr. Ralph (Herb) Benedict of Michigan. It grows into a medium size hosta about 11 inches in height by 37 inches wide. The leaves are ovate and slightly wavy. It bears dense clusters of near white flowers in July.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "...has probably grown larger than even Herb Benedict expected. Also, do not confuse it with Jerry Hadrava's 'Rosedale Golden Chips'."
