According to The Genus HOSTA by W. George Schmid (1991), this is a sport of H. 'Golden Prayers' which is larger than the mother plant and is "reportedly the true form". It is a large size plant with foliage that is very broadly ovate with thick substance. The near white flowers bloom from late June into July.
