This medium to large size plant is a sport of H. 'Samurai' which was registered by Peter Ruh of Ohio in 2000. It has golden foliage and bears near white flowers from mid-June into July.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "Unfortunately, it develops spring desiccation burn and is, therefore, not recommended."
