This green leaf sport of H. 'Sum
and Substance' was registered by
Walters Gardens, Inc.
in 1997. It forms a large mound of medium green colored foliage
and has lavender flowers in later summer.
According to
The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis
(2009), "The foliage on 'Green Gables' is a lighter green
than that of 'Vim and Vigor',
another Walters Gardens green-leaved sport of 'Sum and
Substance'."
