Hosta 'Green Jeans'

This is one of those cases where there are two hostas with the same name. One is registered and, therefore, the "official" version of H. 'Green Jeans' while the other is a non-registered plant and needs to be renamed to avoid further confusion.

This hybrid of H. ventricosa 'Aureomarginata' × H. yingeri was registered by Tony Avent of Plant Delights Nursery in North Carolina in 2005. It grows into a medium size hosta about 15 inches high with dark green foliage. In July, it bears deep purple flowers.

Hosta Helper will call this plant 'Green Jeans' (Avent)

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "Another plant named 'Green Jeans' was listed as being a 'Nakaimo' hybrid from "Punnett" in The Genus Hosta (Schmid 1991), but it probably no longer exists."

Hosta Helper will call this plant 'Green Jeans' (Punnett)

There is also a cultivar named H. 'Mr. Green Jeans' and one named, H. 'Mister Green Jeans'.
