This cultivar was listed on the MyHostas Database website. Originated by Tony Avent of Plant Delights Nursery in North Carolina, this non-registered cultivar is a sport of H. venusta. It is a small size, rhizomatous hosta with very dark green, wavy foliage. Dark purple flowers bloom from late June into July on scapes about 15 inches tall. It may be confused with H. 'Minima'.
