This cultivar is non-registered but has a H. venusta background. It forms a small size mound of green foliage with light purple, striped flowers.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "...credited to "Japan /Gowen /Benedict "...The name Hosta minima does not represent a true species, though it (and a number of similar names) has been used in various collections and gardens. It probably comes close to 'Minuta'another dwarf form of H. venusta."
