This non-registered sport of the
species, H. montana, was found in the wild in
Masaru Sakurai. It grows into a large size mound with ovate leaves
that are often green streaked and are distinctly wavy.
It bears very pale lavender flowers from late June into July.

flower, it translates to "flower of Hida"."
