Hosta 'Huron'

This cultivar is part of Van Wade's "American Indian Series" of hostas. It was registered in 2007 as a seedling selection of unidentified parentage. The mound grows into a medium size hosta about 16 inches in height and 44 inches in width. Near white flowers bloom from mid-June into July.

The Huron tribe was also known as the Wyandots. They were from the Northeastern part of North America and probably originated in the area of Quebec, Canada.
