This non-registered sport of Hosta kikutii leuconata from Japan. The foliage is green with a yellow marginal variegation. It is a medium size (15 inches high) plant with elliptical leaves covered with an intense waxy white  bloom on the bottom side. Near white flowers bloom in dense clusters.

Mikiko Lockwood in an article on The Hosta Library titled, A Little About Japanese Hosta Terms defines the term kifukurin or ki fukurin as yellow edge(d) or yellow margin(ed) and the term urajiro as white-backed or white underside.

This has been incorrectly listed as H. 'Kifukurin Leuconata'.
