H. montana

This sport of the species, H. montana, was found in the wild in Japan. It grows into a medium size hosta about 18 inches high and 43 inches wide. The leaves are slightly rippled and slightly corrugated with good substance. Very pale lavender flowers bloom in July on 40 inch tall scapes.

"Plant is a form of H. longissima with double flowers and, occasionally, petaloid stamens. It is found in Tsukude District and named Kinkaku Gibōshi."
