This cultivar is part of the Lakeside Series of hosta cultivars developed by
Mary Chastain.
It was registered in 1997 as a hybrid of a seedling and H. 'Lakeside
Little Gem'. A small (8 inches high) plant, it has leaves
that are medium to dark green in the center with creamy yellow
to white margins. It has pale purple flowers in July.
Sports include H. 'Mini Face'.
