This plant of unknown parentage is part of the
Lakeside Series of hostas
originated and registered in by
Mary Chastain.
The mound reaches 25 inches in height and 56 inches wide with
moderately corrugated foliage with thick substance. Pale
lavender flowers bloom in mid July.
According to
The Hosta Handbook by
Mark Zilis (2000), "...acts like a sport of
'Paul's Glory' in almost every mound, leaf, and flowering
characteristic."
Similar cultivars include H.
