There is an image of this cultivar on the Hosta Library. From the photo on the HL website, it appears to be a large size hosta with dark green leaves and wide yellow medial (center) variegation. Near white flowers bloom from late June into July. This non-registered cultivar was originated by Sunny Border Nursery in Connecticut.

A comment on the Hosta Library stated, "Bob Axmear says 'Luc's Birthday' was found at Sunny Border on September 30. Since that is the birthday of his friend, Luc Klinkhamer, who lives in the Netherlands, this name was given to the new hosta. It is a sport of 'Blue Angel'."

MyHosta database says that it is a sport of H. 'Guardian Angel'.
