Hosta 'Madelynn'

This plant originated from a seedling of unidentified parentage that was registered in 2007 by D. Darr but originated by Van Wade of Wade and Gatton Nursery (Closed 2019) of Ohio. The large size mound is 2 feet tall and 51 inches wide with broadly ovate shaped, heavily corrugated, neatly rippled foliage with thick substance. Whitish flowers bloom from late June.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "When I first came upon this cultivar in the Wade & Gatton Nurseries collection several years ago, I was immediately impressed by its combination of intense corrugation, neat piecrust margins, and good blue color."
