H. plantaginea
'Ming Treasure'

A tissue culture sport of H. plantaginea, this large cultivar was registered by Mark Zilis of Illinois in 1999. It grows into a large size hosta about 25 inches in height with a spread of 5 feet. Typical of plants with this background, it bears fragrant, pure white flowers starting in August.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "...best of the margined H. plantaginea sports."
