Hosta 'Nancy Lindsay'

Oops! Sure looks as if this green hosta is labeled as H. 'Nancy Lindsey' but this is a misspelling of H. 'Nancy Lindsay' - Mr PGC

This sport of H. 'Fortunei' was registered by the British Hosta and Hemerocallis Society (BHHS) in 1988. It grows into a large size hosta about 19 inches high and 57 inches wide. It bears medium lavender flowers from mid-July.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "...appears to be no different from 'Fortunei Viridis' and other green-leaved, H. 'Fortunei' types. In spring, however, it has a mottled green and gold foliage color."

Similar cultivars include H. 'Sharmon'.
