Hosta 'Ogon Chirifu Hime'

There is an image of this cultivar on the Hosta Library. From the photo on the HL website, it appears to be a small size hosta with green leaves. This non-registered cultivar was originated in Japan and introduced by Heinz Klose of Germany.

The MyHosta database suggests that this is actually H. 'Chirifu Ogon Himetokudama'

Mikiko Lockwood in an article on The Hosta Library titled, A Little About Japanese Hosta Terms defines the term chirifu as speckled, mottled or overall variegated, the term ogon or oogon as gold or yellow. and the term hime as small, mini, dwarf or princess.
