This seedling of unidentified parentage was originated by Van Wade of Wade and Gatton Nursery (Closed 2019) of Ohio. It is a large size hosta about 25 inches high by 70 inches wide with medium green colored foliage. Pale purple flowers bloom from late July into August on scapes about 28 inches tall.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "It appears on the Hosta Library. ..as 'Olga Gibōshi', but that is not correct."
