Hosta 'Pewter Platter'

Registered by Phyllis Kedl of Minnesota in 2010, this slow growing, upright cultivar is a large size (24 inches high by 46 inches wide) hybrid of H. 'Elegans'. It has intensely blue-green foliage that is nearly round, heavily corrugated, moderately cupped, moderately folded and has a glaucous bloom on top. Bell shape flowers bloom from June into July.

According to the registration materials: "...intense powdery blue, heavy substance, very puckered, upright, spreading, and tossed in all directions as if in a strong wind..."
