Hosta 'Piper Cub'

Peter Cross of Missouri registered this seedling of H. 'Glacier Cascade' in 2002. It is a small size plant about 9 inches high with a spread of around 22 inches. The leaves emerge gold in the spring but become green as the season progresses. Its leaves are narrowly ovate and moderately wavy. Pale lavender flowers bloom from mid-July into August.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "...listed as an open-pollinated seedling of 'Glacier Cascade', but looks nothing like it."
