Originated by Hans Hansen of Minnesota, this non-registered cultivar is a sport of H. 'Rainbow's End'. The foliage is a bright golden color on this small size hosta. It grows to about one foot tall by two feet wide and bears pale lavender flowers with darker centers in July. The flower scapes are red in color.

There is also a cultivar named H. 'Pot O'Gold'.
