Hosta 'Proud Sentry'

Don Dean introduced this cultivar which forms an upright clump about 16 inches tall. The leaves have rippled margins, have heavy substance and the petioles are reddish in color. Its flowers are pale lavender in July.

These 2010 photos come from the Ralph (Herb) and Dorothy Benedict Hosta Hillside, tours and vendors at the 2010 American Hosta Society National Convention in Minnesota, Wade and Gatton Nursery and Wade Botanical Gardens, Toledo Botanical Garden and the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum.
