Hosta 'Proud Sentry'

Don Dean of Minnesota registered this fast growing hybrid of (a seedling of H. 'Swoosh' H. 'Crested Surf') x H. 'Venetian Blue' in 2008. It is a medium size plant about 16 inches high by 27 inches wide with medium green foliage that has a yellow marginal variegation which turns creamy white later in the season. The leaves are slightly rippled, moderately folded, lightly twisted and dull on top. Pale lavender flowers with translucent edges bloom from mid-August into October in Minnesota. The leaves have purple colored petioles.
