Hosta 'Pucker Power'

Originated by Hank Zumach of Wisconsin, this cultivar was registered by Glenn Herold of Illinois in 2021 as an open-pollinated seedling of H. 'Elegans'. It is a fast growing, giant size (32 inches high by 55 inches wide) hosta with dark green foliage. The broadly ovate leaves are heavily corrugated and very shiny on top. It bears pale purple, tubular flowers with stripes that bloom from July into August and sets seed but their viability was not known at the time of registration.

According to the Registration materials: "Deep, dark green color with exceptional puckering/corrugation."
