Hosta 'Queen of the Hill'

This seedling of a seedling of H. 'Galaxy' (wow...hope you understood that) was registered by Dr. Ed Elslager of Michigan in 2005. It is a giant size plant about 29 inches high with an upright growing habit. The leaves are green with streaked variegation and a gold margin. They are ovate and have deep veins. Lavender flowers bloom from mid-July into August.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "...has the appearance of being a H. montana-type cultivar..."
