Hosta 'Radiant Edger'

Registered by Mark Zilis in 1990, this cultivar is a tissue culture sport of H. 'Gold Edger'. The mediums sized (14 inches high) mound has an unruly growth habit and cupped, slightly corrugated leaves. Its lavender flowers bloom in late June to mid July.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009),  this cultivar "...is a rapid grower...Its foliage colors intensify throughout the growing season...may be a tetraploid."

Similar cultivars include H. 'Abby', H. 'Parky's Prize' and H. 'Sun Drop'.

Sports include H. 'Pamela Lee' and H. 'Radiant Star'.
